Meanwhile, here’s page four in Eleanor’s prologue. Funny thing: since I never really expected to turn Eleanor’s story into a comic, I took a few shortcuts with these early pages. I wanted to get to the good stuff, see. The prologue you’re reading here is a bit more surreal than the one I wrote in the novel; I’ve left out a couple of key characters that I’ll have to find a way to introduce to you later. They’re worth meeting.

The beauty of Eleanor’s story, though — the tale of this mighty fall — is that she lives it, and relives it, in so many different ways that there’s no one true fall. There are many, and they never seem to end.

Until now, Eleanor’s been all sunsets and pretty ocean scenes. But as you can tell, it’s about to get a little rough.
